You even get the first six months of Prime Student for free. There's really no reason not to do it. Even if you don't want to pay $1 a month for Music Unlimited, Prime Student members get free access to Prime Music, a more limited music streaming service. It's also ad-free, but the song selection is smaller (2 million songs vs Amazon Music Unlimited's 75 million songs).
