The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf – the anime movie prequel to Netflix's Witcher series – has a new trailer and poster.
The action-packed trailer shows off multiple monsters, quests, and gory fights – essentially, exactly what you'd expect from a Witcher movie. We also get a glimpse of some of Nightmare of the Wolf's plotlines, including a look at lead character Vesemir's transformation into a Witcher, his quest alongside a witch, Tetra, and seemingly a battle featuring multiple Witchers.
"Do you know what's involved in making a witcher?"

That battle might just be against the enormous hoard of monsters seen in the new poster for the show (below):
Due to hit Netflix on August 23, Nightmare of the Wolf introduces us to Vesemir, the Witcher that will eventually become Geralt of Rivia's mentor (who will be played by Killing Eve's Kim Bodnia in the live-action show). We'll be shown Vesemir's early life as a jobbing monster hunter, and his quest to rid a politically fraught kingdom of a strange new creature.
