San Diego Comic-Con 2022: Everything Announced

San Diego Comic-Con was an in-person event once again in 2022 and brought tons of new announcements, trailers, and teasers for franchises including Marvel, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Game of Thrones' House of the Dragon, and more.

LEGO Announced 3 New Avatar Sets

LEGO has kicked off its Comic-Con 2022 announcements by revealing three new sets based on James Cameron's Avatar. The Neytiri & Thanator vs. AMP Suit Quaritch set, Jake & Neytiri’s First Banshee Flight set, and Floating Mountains: Site 26 & RDA Samson set will be released on October 1 alongside the previously announced Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls set.

First Look At the Characters from Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

Paramount Pictures and eOne have given fans a first look at the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons film, Honor Among Thieves. Stars Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodríguez, Chris Pine, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis can all be seen in their costumes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection Has a Release Date

A ton of Easter Eggs were shown off in a new clip, including a reference to the classic '80s cartoon as the original party appears in a battle against the new set of heroes.

D&D Honor Among Thieves Trailer Revealed Alongside Lots Of New Details At Comic-Con 2022

The first trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves gave fans a proper first look at the film and showed off what star Regé-Jean Page described as its "wicked sense of humour". A ton of other details were revealed, including the cast's deep connections to the original game, exactly what the heroes will be pursuing, and how the team brought a once imaginary world to life.

These New Transformers Figures Delve into Optimus Prime's Origins

Hasbro has revealed two new Transformers figures from the Generations Legacy series, inspired by the origins of Optimus Prime. Fans will have to wait a while to get their hands on them, however, as a release date of November 1 was also announced, with a $66.99 price point for the pack of two.

Disney’s National Treasure TV Show Gets A First Look Teaser Trailer

Disney has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming National Treasure reboot that shows off Lisette Alexis in her role as main character Jess Morales. The trailer also reveals some of the series' plot, as Morales embarks on an epic journey to save a long-lost Pan-American treasure and uncover her family's mysterious past.

Warner Bros has shared more details about its upcoming Arkham spin-off Gotham Knights, including a new gameplay trailer focusing on Batgirl. The development team also shared how the game will feel different depending on which character the player chooses, from different dialogue to combat to the very tone of the game.

The Joker Won't Be in Gotham Knights

Just as Batman is taking a back seat, Warner Bros has confirmed that The Joker will not be making an appearance in Gotham Knights. Creative director Patrick Redding revealed the news during a fan Q&A at the game's Comic-Con panel, but neither confirmed nor denied whether Harley Quinn would be making an appearance.

William Shatner to Appear in Masters of the Universe: Revolution

Star Trek star William Shatner is joining the cast of Netflix's upcoming He-Man project, Masters of the Universe: Revolution. The news was revealed at the franchise's Comic-Con panel, meaning Shatner will (presumably) be joining Mark Hamill, Chris Wood, Lena Headey in the sequel to last year's Masters of the Universe: Revalation.
