It's Prime Day 2022, which means you'll find no shortage of deals on Amazon between now and the end of the sale on July 13. But one of the best deals doesn't even require a Prime membership. Amazon is running a "buy 1, get 1 half off" sale on books (see the full sale here). Tons of books are eligible for the sale, including lots of art books and encyclopedias based on things like video games, movies, and comic books.
If you do have a Prime membership (you can get one here), you can take advantage of a lot more deals. See our megapost of the very best Prime Day deals.
Book Sale: Buy 1 Get 1 Half Off
These picks barely even scratch the surface of all the books eligible for the buy 1, get 1 half off sale. Tons of other novels and books of nonfiction are included in the deal. You can check out the full sale to see what else might be up your alley.
Other Prime Day Book Deals
The following books aren't included in the buy 1, get 1 half off sale above, but they're some of our audiences favorite books, and they're all marked down to new all-time low prices.
The Lord of the Rings Illustrated Edition for $29
This deal isn't part of the sale, but it's a Prime Day deal that's proved very popular with our audience, so I think it deserves a place here. You can grab the recently-published book The Lord of the Rings Illustrated Edition, featuring illustrations by J.R.R. Tolkien himself, for a new all-time low price. It's a gorgeous hardcover edition, and it's on sale for 60% off. Not bad.
Marvel Penguin Classics Are on Sale for New Low Prices
The Penguin Classics line, which usually publishes books by the likes of Charles Dickens and Jane Austen, has come around on classic Marvel comics. These three hardcover collections are on sale for new all-time low prices during Prime Day.
The Skyrim Library Collection Hits a New Low Price
The popular Skyrim Library collection has also dropped to a new all-time low price on Amazon, when you clip the coupon on the page.
