PS5 owners have a lot to be thankful for this Prime Day. Not only are you among the lucky relative few to have snagged a sought-after game console, but you have plenty of discounted PS5 games to choose from. If you missed out on Far Cry 6 at launch, for instance, there's no reason not to try it out with this killer deal.

PS4 Prime Day Deals
Lots of people still have their PS4 hooked up. And even if you've graduated to the PS5, it's backwards compatible, so you can play any of these games on Sony's latest console. I generally use sales like Prime Day to scoop up games that might have caught my eye when they launched but I either didn't have time to play or didn't want to buy at full price. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy got good reviews but was widely ignored by many gamers. This deal price makes it an easy purchase, IMO.

The Nintendo Switch has no shortage of Switch games. In fact, game releases are more like a tsunami on this system, in part because all of Nintendo's first-party developers are putting games out on a single system. During previous generations, some Nintendo teams worked on the handheld system while others worked on the console. With the Switch, the handheld system and the console are a single device.
