Lab Rat, a new satirical science-fiction puzzle game is coming to Xbox Series X & S as well as PC next year.
Appearing in today's ID@Xbox stream, Lab Rat is a block pushing puzzle game that comes with some Portal vibes, not least its cutting sense of humour. Designed as a satire of gaming and reliance on machine learning, it was originally announced solely for PC, but will now come to Xbox Series X and S as well. All versions are due to arrive in 2022.
Revealed at Gamescom last year, the game will feature over 100 levels that are designed to blend a variety of genres, and will also periodically poll players on various subjects, as the game's controlling AI attempts to understand humanity. Poll results from all players will be collated and presebnted as the game goes on. You can sign up for a beta now.
Lab Rat developer Chump Squad previously released ingenious musical puzzle game Kine, so there's a lot to be excited for here.
