Presented by The Callisto Protocol, watch from the beginning as we sculpt, mold and paint one of the mutated creatures from the game, giving Max the perfect costume to terrorize the floor of Comic-Con.

What to Expect at San Diego Comic-Con 2022

Some of the biggest names in entertainment have confirmed they will be in attendance at the show, along with others released in the SDCC program lineup.

Perhaps the most exciting news is Marvel has returned to San Diego Comic-Con for the first in-person SDCC since 2019. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige revealed the news during a press conference for Thor: Love and Thunder in June, but gave no hints as to what fans can expect to see at the show.

    SDCC 2019 Recap

In 2019, Marvel Studios revealed its initial plans for Phase 4 at San Diego Comic-Con and some of the projects featured were:

    • Eternals
    • The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s premiere date
    • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
    • WandaVision
    • Loki
    • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,
    • (and many more)

    SDCC 2022 Predictions

If the past show is any indication, Marvel fans should have a lot to look forward to. We do know a decent bit about the future of Marvel, so we very well may learn more about:

    • She-Hulk
    • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
    • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
    • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and/or the Holiday Special
    • Fantastic Four
    • (and, who knows, maybe X-Men! Hey, we can dream!)

Warner Bros. Discovery revealed that the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, Sandman, and Harley Quinn will all be present at San Diego Comic-Con alongside Gotham Knights and MultiVersus on the games side of things.

Fans of Middle-earth will be treated to an “exclusive early look” at The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and Apple has shared it will be hosting panels for Severance, For All Mankind, Mythic Quest, and more.

Fall Guys Has Reached 50 Million Players Since Going Free-to-Play

Shortly after its initial release, Fall Guys saw a dip in player population after launch as is natural with most online games. However, since the game was re-released as a free-to-play title in late June, it has seen a massive resurgence, and the numbers only keep growing.

According to a Tweet from Fall Guys, after its rerelease, the game reached 50 million players in the span of two weeks. That's an impressive increase from its first week as a free-to-play title, which saw 20 million players in 48 hours.

The increase in players is largely due to Fall Guys' new model — the game switched to a fully free-to-play battle pass model on June 21, nearly two years after its initial release.

While players still have the option to pay for a Season Pass and other colorful cosmetics, the base game is now free for the first time (though it's no longer on Steam and has since moved to the Epic Games Launcher), allowing plenty of new players to fall into the world of Fall Guys for the first time.

The battle royale ragdoll platformer quickly became a fan favorite after its release in 2020. In our 8/10 review, IGN said "A collection of exciting minigames and a smattering of every colour under the rainbow makes Fall Guys a consistent delight, even if it can also be a frustrating one at times."

Clerks 3 Gets a Trailer, Poster, and Theater Release

We've gotten the first trailer for Clerks 3, the long-awaited return to Kevin Smith's seminal slacker movie series.

Starring the original cast, the plot will see Randal Graves suffer a near-fatal heart attack, and team up with Dante Hicks to make a movie about their time working at the Quick Stop grocery store. As you can see from the trailer, that movie sounds a lot like, well, Clerks.

To celebrate the trailer's release, director Kevin Smith is currently hosting an Instagram Live chat featuring stars Brian O’Halloran, Jeff Anderson and Jason Mewes, all of whom will talk about the new movie and answer fan questions.

The movie will air in 700 US theaters for two nights only, September 13 and September 15 – you can book tickets now. Smith will also be taking the film on the Clerks 3 Convenience Tour, starting on September 4.

We also got a look at the movie's poster, which you can see below:

The Division Resurgence Is Ubisoft’s Newest Mobile Game

We knew that Ubisoft was planning to make a mobile game for its third-person shooter RPG franchise Tom Clancy's The Division. Today, the gaming giant has officially announced Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence — a free-to-play game coming to iOS and Android.

Like the first game, Resurgence is set in New York City after a viral outbreak, but with a new and independent storyline. Ubisoft confirmed that Resurgence will offer "a unique perspective on key story events that have taken place" in both The Division and its sequel, The Division 2, which launched in 2019.

Like the first two installments, Tom Clancy's The Division will allow players to explore an open world where they can roam freely as they protect civilians from members of hostile factions. Players will have the option to play solo or with friends via co-op. Those interested in participating in the upcoming tests can sign up now.

Resurgence is not the only game set in The Division universe currently in development. Last year, Ubisoft announced The Division: Heartland, a free-to-play game by the original Tom Clancy developer, Red Storm Entertainment, which will launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. While Heartland was initially set to launch in the 2021-2022 window, Ubisoft quietly delayed the game in October 2021.

Prime Members Get 12 Months Grubhub+ for Free

Here’s good news for Prime members who don’t like to cook. While Amazon’s Prime Day 2022 sale hasn’t even begun, a number of deals area already available for Prime members. The latest one is pretty great: all Prime members are eligible for a year’s subscription to Grubhub+, a food delivery service that normally costs $9.99 a month. All you have to do is be a Prime member and you can take advantage here.

Get Grubhub+ Free for a Year (Prime Required)

The only (extremely mild) caveat is that the Grubhub+ subscription auto-renews by default, meaning you'll be on the hook for $9.99 a month after the deal runs out. Pro tip: set a reminder to cancel the subscription the day before it runs out. If you like it, of course, you can keep the subscription going.

What is Grubhub+? It’s a subscription service that gets you unlimited free delivery on eligible orders of $12 or more. To see which restaurants are eligible, look for the GH+ flag in the app, or filter your results to only view Grubhub+ locations.

As for other early Prime Day deals, Prime members can snag three months of Audible for free and can download dozens of free PC games. There are also a few ways to get free Amazon credit to stock up your wallet in the run-up to Prime Day. The sale may not have arrived yet, but the deals are already starting.

All the Best Amazon Prime Day Deals

There are plenty more discounts to go around, so take a look at our complete list of Prime Day coverage below.
