77" LG C1 4K OLED Smart Gaming TV for $2399.99 Plus 10% Amazon Cashback for Prime Cardholders

    Alternatively, it's $2199.99 at Buydig.com

If you're an Amazon Prime member, then you're eligible for the no annual fee Amazon Prime Card, which is an amazing card to get because it gives you 5% cashback on all purchases on Amazon. That means you'll be getting about $240 back on this particular TV and your final price will essentially be $2159.99. You will only see this deal IF you have the Amazon Prime Card. Compared to traditional LED LCD TVs, OLED panels offer better image quality, deeper blacks, better contrast ratio, wider color gamut, and super fast response times. OLED TVs excel at both gaming and viewing 4K HDR content. Amongst OLED TVs, the LG C1 is oft considered the flag bearer; it's the one TV that all other OLED TVs are compared against. The LG OLED TV boasts several generations of optimizations under its belt and the latest C1 model is future proofed with technology like HDMI 2.1 (4K @ 120Hz), variable refresh rate, G-SYNC, the newest LG A9 Gen4 processor and a revamped webOS smart TV interface. It's a perfect matchup for current generation consoles like the PS5 or Xbox Series X.

    Supports 4K @ 120Hz for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X gamers

Sony's 55" OLED TV dropped in price today; whereas normally Sony OLEDs are pricier than LG OLEDs, that's not the case right now. The Sony A80J is $100 less than LG's 55" C1 and $800 less than LG's 55" C2. The A80J is a true OLED 4K TV with near infinite contrast ratios, best-in-class black levels, excellent color rendition, and super fast response times. It also supports 4K @ 120Hz over HDMI 2.1.

48" LG C1 4K OLED Smart Gaming TV for $897 Plus 10% Amazon Cashback for Prime Cardholders

    Supports 4K @ 120Hz for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X gamers

You will only see this deal IF you have the Amazon Prime Card. That means you'll be getting about $90 back on this particular TV. Yes this is a TV, but it happens to be one of the best gaming PC monitors as well. It's hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other highest end gaming monitors like the Samsung Neo G9 49" Mini LED or the Alienware 34" QD-OLED gaming monitor, and is arguably better. It has HDMI 2.1 ports to support 4K @ 120Hz if you have a GeForce RTX 30 series video card, as well as variable refresh rate and G-SYNC. I have personally been using an older 48" LG CX OLED TV (2020) for a few years now, and I'll never go back to a tradional LED LCD monitor. If the time comes where I'll have to replace or upgrade my monitor, I'll definitely continue to spring for a 4K OLED monitor. If that were to happen right this minute, I'd pick this one up without hesitation.

The Nanocell 90 boasts an IPS panel with full array LED backlighting and local area dimming. It also has two HDMI 2.1 ports for 4K @ 120Hz and variable refresh rate (VRR). This is an excelelnt TV to pair with your PS5 or Xbox Series X.

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16" RTX 3060 Gaming Laptop for $1199, RTX 3070 for $1399

Walmart is offering an outstanding deal on these powerful gaming laptops from Lenovo. Both the RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 found in these laptops have a TDP rating of 140W. That is the maximum TDP rating you'll find for a mobile RTX 3060/3070 graphics card, meaning there are the one of the most powerful RTX 3060/3070 gaming laptops you can get. Higher TDP means more power is supplied to the graphics card, and that directly equates to better performance in games.

New Speed Champ: 2TB SK Hynix P41 M.2 SSD

Currently Amazon is offering an extra 15% off the SK Hynx P41 2TB model. The SK Hynix P41 is a recently released PS5 compatible SSD that happens to be the fastest consumer PCE 4.0 SSD drive on the market right now. Speed benchmarks consistently exceed its rated specs and it performs better than other comparable SSDs from WD, Seagate, Samsung, and more. SK Hynix might not be a household brand name, but they are in no way a fledgeling company. SK Hynix is the world's second-largest memory chipmaker and the world's third-largest semiconductor company.

32" Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 4K Quantum Dot Mini-LED Gaming Monitor for $1099.99

The Neo G7 is the smaller sized sibling o the Neo G9 at "only" 32 inches (vs 49 inches) and commands a $1000 cheaper MSRP ($1299 vs $2299). So what makes this monitor worth the price? The main thing is the Mini LED display. Mini LED backlights are much smaller and more precise than traditional LED backlights, which means greater contrast ratio, deeper black levels, higher brightness (up to an incredible 2,000 nits), and better HDR than traditional displays. You'll find Mini LED panels only in the higher end 4K TVs as well as the newest Apple iPad Pro 12.9" XDR display, the priciest iPad on the market.

Samsung EVO Select 512GB Micro SDXC Card (Nintendo Switch Compatible) for $54.99

This is a great card for your Nintendo Switch storage. The console only comes with 32GB of built-in storage. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for example, already takes up 14GB of storage by itself. The Samsung EVO Select is faster than your average Micro SDXC card (including the Nintendo branded ones) so it's also a great choice for devices that can take advantage of its faster speed, like a phone or camera.

New Apple AirPods Pro Noise-Cancelling Earbuds

If you regret not picking the Airpods Pro up on Black Friday, here's your chance to get it today at the same price. This is the newest generation model with the MagSafe compatible wireless charger. The AirPods Pro is considered one of the best noise-cancelling in-ear headphones you can get, especially for under $200. The noise cancellation is considered to be even better than the Bose Quietcomfort because of the natural noise isolating design of the in-ear earbuds. If isolation and sound quality are of utmost important to you, then it's easily worth the upgrade over the AirPods 3.

    HP Reverb G2 VR Headset

The Reverb G2 normally sells for $599, but the HP Store has it for $200 off. That makes it the same price as the Oculus Quest 2 256gb model but with some significant upgrades under the hood. The Reverb G2 sports the second highest resolution of any VR headset with 2160×2160 pixels per eye (even more than the already impressive Quest 2's 1832×1920 resolution), manual IPD adjustment, a far more robust headstrap than the Quest 2, inside-out tracking that doesn't require external sensors, and off-ear headphones so they don't get as grimy and maintains your peripheral hearing.

It's very well designed with a vibrant full color 2.36" LCD screen and intuitive control buttons, all in a tiny footprint that can even fit in your pocket.

    55" Hisense U8G 4K Android TV for $599

    HDMI 2.1 for 4K @ 120Hz

Thie Hisense U8G is a fantastic TV at a budget price. It's one of the highest end TVs that Hisense sells and its picture quality competes with the top-end LED LCD TV models from Samsung, LG, and Sony. The U8G is the 2021 model that replaces the 2020 U9G. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports and a native 120Hz panel so it can push 4K @ 120Hz with PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. It does a great job at displaying HDR content thanks to its high peak brightness and excellent black levels. It also makes a good gaming TV since it has a fast response time. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a bad TV because of the brand; it's one of the best 55" TV you'll find in this price range.

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 GPU for $769.99

These are easily the best prices we've seen for an RTX 3080 video card since launch. At this price point, the RTX 3080 is a better value than the 3080 Ti, which costs at least $250 more at reputable vendors. The performance gap between the 3080 and 3080 Ti is about 3%, hardly noticeable. The 3080 is significantly more powerful than the previous generation's flagship RTX 2080 SUPER. The Iskur X model is very similar to the original Iskur model. It lacks the adjustable lumbar spline and has 2D armrests instead of 3D, but the build quality and premium materials are identical. It's a superior chair than Razer's economically priced Enki chair, and with this discount it's cheaper too! The Razer Iskur commands a high retail price tag for a reason; it's well-engineered with plenty of high quality materials and usable features. It also adds on even more health-related features, like measuring your blood oxygen or taking an ECG. It's inarguably the best smartwatch on the market right now. It performs just as well as its larger sized siblings as a gaming TV, but where it really shines is as a gaming monitor for your PC.

    65" TCL 4-Series 4K Roku TV for $398

    55" for $298

It might not look as good as a $1500 TV, but you could fund the rest of your home entertainment or gaming system with the amount you just saved.

Pro Apex Legends Player Chooses Not to Kill a Disconnected Opponent in a $2 Million Tournament

Apex Legends pro player Philip "ImperialHal" Dosen has made an important mark on the Apex Legends Global Series 2022 tournament for choosing not to kill a disconnected opponent despite $2 million being on the line.

As reported by Eurogamer, ImperialHal spotted a lone player in the distance and, when he noticed he wasn't moving and was likely disconnected, he told his TSM teammates to not shoot him.

"Don't shoot him. Don't shoot him, bro! He's crashed," ImperialHal said. "He 100 percent tabbed out or crashed or something. Don’t shoot them – it’s Scarz."

His act of kindness and good sportsmanship did not go unnoticed and fans and competitors alike praised his decision to spare the player who was dealing with technical issues. ImperialHal responded to the comments by saying, "It's the least every player can do out here with these issues."

It all worked out in the end as both TSM and Scarz made it through to today's heat and lived to fight another day that may see them facing off fair and square.

Thor: Love and Thunder Has a $302 Million Weekend Box Office Victory Worthy of the Gods

Thor: Love and Thunder has earned $302 million in its first weekend at the global box office and has secured a victory worthy of the gods.

As reported by Variety, Thor: Love and Thunder brought in $143 million in North America and another $159 million internationally.

While the latest MCU film's opening was slightly behind domestic estimates of $150 million, it still performed very well and earned more than Thor: Ragnarok's $123 million in 2017. It also sits just behind Jurassic World: Dominion's $145 million and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' $185 million for the biggest opening weekend of 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder cost $250 million to produce and Marvel has spent roughly $100 million to promote it, so these numbers should be very promising for the studio. Lastly, Thor: Love and Thunder had the 12th best opening of any MCU film, of which there were 28 before it.

In our Thor: Love and Thunder review, we said that it "is held back by a cookie-cutter plot and a mishandling of supporting characters, but succeeds as the MCU's first romantic comedy thanks to Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman's chemistry."

Minions: The Rise of Gru took second place by earning $45.5 million in its second weekend. As it stands, the fifth entry in the Despicable Me franchise has brought in $210 million domestically and $399.8 million globally.

Top Gun: Maverick placed third by adding another $15.5 million to its total in its seventh weekend of release. The second Top Gun film has earned $597.4 million domestically and over $1.18 billion globally.

Elvis took fourth place with $11 million, marking a 40% drop from its opening weekend. Elvis has brought in $91.1 million in North America so far.

Rounding out the top five was Jurassic World: Dominion with $8.4 million in domestic ticket sales. That was enough to let the latest Jurassic film cross the $350 million mark in North America.

For more, check out our explainer of the ending, why Thor: Love and Thunder is proof that Marvel needs a Phase 4 goal sooner rather than later, and our look at who that mystery character was in the film.

Every (Really) Dead Marvel Movie Character, From Iron Man 1 to Thor: Love and Thunder

Full spoilers ahead for every single movie (and show) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Thor: Love and Thunder has arrived in theaters and has brought with it some big moments alongside some heartbreaking losses. While it's seldom final in Marvel Comics, death has so far been permanent in the MCU — with the exception of the Avengers' success in undoing Thanos' snap in Endgame, of course. (And variants of those who have died in the Sacred Timeline.) But table all that and check out our extended obit page for all the significant characters who have perished for real in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Mind you, we’re leaving out cannon fodder background characters like the armies of Asgard and the Chitauri to focus on the most notable leading and supporting players seen throughout the Infinity Saga, starting all the way back with …

    Obadiah Stane

    • Died In: Iron Man
    • Cause of Death: Electrocution/fall/explosion

The MCU’s first big bad met his end when he got fried by a blast from Tony Stark’s Arc Reactor while suited up in his Iron Monger armor. Stane then plummeted down into the reactor, which exploded into flames.

    Dr. Ho Yinsen

    • Died In: Iron Man
    • Cause of Death: Gunshots

A captive of the Ten Rings in Afghanistan, Yinsen first saved Tony’s life when he operated on his shrapnel wound and made an electromagnetic plate to keep it from reaching his heart. Having lost his family in a terrorist attack, Yinsen later sacrificed himself to help Tony escape, suffering fatal gunshot wounds. His dying words to Tony were for him to not waste his life.

    Raza

    • Died In: Iron Man
    • Cause of Death: Gunshots

The leader of the Ten Rings terrorist cell that kidnapped Tony Stark in Afghanistan, Raza was betrayed by Obadiah Stane, who paralyzed him with a Sonic Taser before his goons slew Raza and his men.

    Whiplash

    • Died In: Iron Man 2
    • Cause of Death: Explosion/suicide

Left badly wounded by Iron Man and War Machine’s simultaneous blast, Whiplash triggers all his drones to detonate, destroying himself and much of the Stark Expo.

    Anton Vanko

    • Died In: Iron Man 2
    • Cause of Death: Illness

Howard Stark’s former partner and co-creator of the Arc Reactor, this Russian scientist died broke and bitter that all he could leave his son Ivan was his knowledge. A vengeful Ivan then builds his first weapons as Whiplash over the opening credits of Iron Man 2.

    Laufey

    • Died In: Thor
    • Cause of Death: Magic energy blast

“‘Your death came at the hand of Laufey,” he boasted. Laufey, the king of the Frost Giants of Jotunheim and Loki’s biological father, was poised to kill his old enemy Odin when he was shot in the back by Loki. As Laufey lay wounded, Loki said, “And your death came by the son of Odin.” The god of mischief then blasted his birth father (who had abandoned him as an infant) to smithereens with the magic weapon Gungnir.

    Dr. Abraham Erskine

    • Died In: Captain America: The First Avenger

Or, well, she was until she and the other members of the Illuminati confronted Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, who dispatched each member with relative ease. Captain Marvel fought valiantly against Scarlet Witch but was ultimately crushed by falling rubble.

    Black Bolt (Earth-838)

    • Died In: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
    • Cause of Death: Blows Up His Own Head

Anson Mount originally played Black Bolt on the critically reviled and short-lived ABC television series Marvel's Inhumans so some may have been surprised to see him appear in Multiverse of Madness. Earth-838's Black Bolt is, like his comics counterpart, a member of the Illuminati (he even wears a comics accurate costume here). He arguably suffers the grisliest death in the film. Black Bolt has the power to kill someone with a word so when Scarlet Witch removes his mouth, a panicked Black Bolt unintentionally blows out his own brains with his own voice.

    Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff

    • Died In: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
    • Cause of Death: Crushed … but is she truly dead?

Realizing the error of her ways in the end, Scarlet Witch finally destroys the power of The Darkhold throughout the multiverse and brings down Wundagore Mountain on top of her in a redemptive death. But there is a hint of red misty energy under those rocks at the end, which leaves the slightest of possibilities that perhaps Earth-616's Wanda is not really dead. After all, she's come back from the dead before so we shall see what the future holds for Wanda Maximoff.

    Saleem

    • Died In: Ms. Marvel
    • Cause of Death: Daggers to the Chest

Saleem was a member of the ClanDestine and he was killed by Waleed when he was chasing Kamala Khan through the streets of Karachi.

    Waleed

    • Died In: Ms. Marvel
    • Cause of Death: Stabbed by Najma

Waleed was the leader of the Red Daggers and was helping Kamala Khan before the ClanDestine launched a surprise attack. Unfortunately, he was stabbed by Najma after throwing daggers and killing Saleem in an attempt to give Kamala and Kareem time to escape.

    Aadam

    • Died In: Ms. Marvel
    • Cause of Death: Stabbed by Kareem

Aadam was a member of the ClanDestine and met his end when Kareem stabbed him in the back while his group was chasing him and Kamala through the streets of Karachi.

    Aisha

    • Died In: Ms. Marvel
    • Cause of Death: Stabbed in the stomach by Najma

Aisha was a member of the ClanDestines and was attempting to get home to the Noor dimension after being exiled to our world. She was separated from the other members of ClanDestine while they were searching for the bangles that would help them get home. She would then head to a village in Bombay and meet Hasan, a man she would eventually marry and have a daughter with named Sana. In 1947, Najma found her and threatened her new life and Aisha and her family attempted to escape by heading to a train station. Unfortunately, she was found and stabbed by Najma, but she was able to speak to her time-traveling great-granddaughter Kamala Khan before she passed and asked her to help Sana board the train with Hasan, which she did.

    Fariha

    • Died In: Ms. Marvel
    • Cause of Death: Killed by the Veil of Noor opening

Fariha was a member of the ClanDestine and was vaporized when she attempted to interact with the Veil of Noor that opened after Najma stabbed Kamala's bangle.

    Najma

    • Died In: Ms. Marvel
    • Cause of Death: Sacrificed herself to close the Veil of Noor

Najma was a member of the ClanDestine and was trying to find her way home to the Noor Dimension. Her quest would lead her to chase Kamala through the streets of Karachi in an attempt to retrieve the bangle that would help her complete her mission. When she accidentally stabs Kamala's bangle, she opens up the Veil of Noor but quickly realizes that it will kill any who interact with it. She decides she needs to sacrifice herself to close the veil, but not before transferring her powers to her son, Kamran.

    Rapu

    • Died In: Thor: Love and Thunder
    • Cause of Death: Stabbed in the Throat by Gorr the God Butcher

Rapu was a god that Gor the God Butcher before he was the God Butcher worshipped alongside his people. After Gorr loses his daughter and stumbles upon Rapu in an oasis in the desert, he realizes he isn't the benevolent god he thought he was. Rapu is arrogant and shows little care for Gorr or his people's struggles and even mentions there will always be more people that will come along and worship him. He makes a grave mistake, however, as he attempts to kill Gorr before the Necrosword chooses him and allows him to stab the god right in his neck.

    Falligar the Behemoth

    • Died In: Thor: Love and Thunder
    • Cause of Death: Killed by Gorr the God Butcher

Falligar the Behemoth was a Falligarian god that was a victim of Gorr the God Butcher's quest to butcher all the gods. In the comics, Falligar was a Patron god of the Galactic Frontier and an acquaintance of Thor.

Dr. Jane Foster / Mighty Thor

    • Died In: Thor: Love and Thunder
    • Cause of Death: Cancer

Dr. Jane Foster was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and was having little luck with traditional medicine. She then discovered that Mjolnir could be the key to a cure and went to New Asgard to see if that were true. She was deemed worthy and would bond with Mjolnir to become Mighty Thor. While this gave her great strength and power, her time as Mighty Thor greatly weakened her human form and would eventually let the cancer kill her. Fully knowing the risks, Foster chooses to become Mighty Thor one last time to help Thor stop Gorr the God Butcher once and for all. While they succeed, she ends up dying in Thor's arms after the cancer became too much to bear.

As terrible as Jane's fate was, Thor: Love and Thunder's post-credits scene reveals that she at least is welcomed to Valhalla, a place she will hopefully live a happy eternal afterlife.

    Gorr the God Butcher

    • Died In: Thor: Love and Thunder
    • Cause of Death: The curse and destruction of the Necrosword

Gorr the God Butcher was chosen by the Necrosword when he was nearly killed by Rapu and this allowed him to slay the god and began his quest to butcher every god. While the Necrosword would give him great powers, it was also the key to his life. This meant that when Mighty Thor used Mjolnir to break the cursed sword, Gorr's death was soon to follow. In his final moments, he chose to use his wish to resurrect his daughter and, with his dying breath, asks Thor to take care of her and raise her as his own.

    DIED OFFSCREEN/PRESUMED DEAD:

    Kingpin

    • Last Seen In: Hawkeye

One of the biggest questions many had after the finale of Marvel's Hawkeye was whether Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin was actually dead. While Maya seemingly shot and killed him, we don't actually see him die as the camera pans away from the violence. While Marvel may just not want to show a point-blank shot on Disney+, this also may be a chance for Kingpin to return. After all, why bring back D'Onofrio after Daredevil's cancellation for such a short appearance?

In a comics story we won't spoil here, Kingpin did survive Maya's attack – but at a great cost. As in the comics, anything is possible in the MCU so we may very well see Kingpin in the future.

    Col. Chester Phillips

    • Last Seen In: Captain America: The First Avenger

He was already a senior citizen by the time of the events of The First Avenger so it stands to reason this gruff military man passed away in the ensuing years. His photo hung at the SHIELD base in Camp Lehigh during the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, having passed away in the years following World War II.

    Howling Commandos

    • Last Seen In: Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers (deleted scene), Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

While Dum Dum Dugan would go on to serve postwar in Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., all of Cap’s former World War II teammates must now be presumed dead. Indeed, a deleted scene from Marvel’s The Avengers showed Cap going through old files where pages listed members James Montgomery Falsworth and Jim Morita as deceased.

    Edwin Jarvis

    • Last Seen In: Avengers: Endgame

This Agent Carter regular — and young Tony Stark’s future butler, who helped raise him after the death of his parents — passed away in the ensuing years between his appearance in the 1970 time heist in Endgame and Iron Man 1, where “Jarvis” was the name given to Tony’s AI.

xScreen for Xbox Series S Review

It’s been nearly two years since the PS5 and Xbox Series launched in November 2020, and since then we’ve seen a steady trickle of accessories for these consoles. One of the more interesting products to grace the market is the UPspec Gaming xScreen – a portable folding screen that attaches directly to your Xbox Series S.

However, $250 is a steep asking price on top of what otherwise is the most affordable ninth-generation console on the market.

    xScreen – Design and Features

The xScreen features an 11.6-inch 1080p foldable IPS display available in one color variant: white. The screen has a sleek and clean design with a foldable hinge that offers a laptop-esque experience when connected to the Series S.

The xScreen connects to the Xbox Series S via HDMI and one of the USB-A ports on the back of the console. That said, it’s not just a simple plug-and-play design. The xScreen has two latches – one on each side of the screen – that will need to be screwed in by hand to ensure the unit is attached securely to the Series S. The latches themselves are also white, but if you want a little flair, different color options are available for $9.99 each.

When you first set up the xScreen you’ll notice that the device and the Series S connect seamlessly, making the latches seem unnecessary. However, without the latches, the xScreen doesn’t feel properly secured to the Series S, so I’d recommend using them regardless. The latches themselves tuck neatly into the grills of both the xScreen and the Series S. When everything is all set up, you could easily mistake the xScreen as being a part of the Xbox Series S by default.

With the xScreen attached, the additional USB-A port and the ethernet port on the Series S are blocked off from usage. That said, there is a small gap on the right side of the console, allowing you to plug in your power cable still or expand your storage with Seagate's proprietary storage expansion cards.

Losing a USB-A port isn’t the worst, as you still have access to the one on the front of the console. Of greater concern is the blocked Ethernet port, which means you’ll have to rely solely on Wi-Fi for internet connectivity. Drawbacks aside, it is quite impressive that UPspec was able to create a display that draws power directly from the Xbox Series S. Folding the xScreen closed will also shut the console off automatically.

xScreen also includes two built-in speakers, which I found to be unpredictable in terms of volume and not great in terms of sound quality. If you want a good audio experience, I’d recommend using a headset to get your sound.

There are two other optional accessories for the xScreen, sold separately: a $59.99 traveling case that nestles both the Series S and xScreen and makes it convenient for traveling, and a $24.99 stand feet that allow you to place the console and the display vertically. In my testing, I could not find any instances that standing the console up improved performance, so it seems only necessary if you need the Series S to take up as little space as possible.

    xScreen – Gaming Performance

The xScreen consistently delivered 1080p gaming. That said, when setting up the accessory for the first time, you will need to go into your Xbox’s settings and switch the resolution to 1080p as the default sets it to 720p. The refresh rate maxes out at 60Hz, which is fine for the portable gaming it delivers, but falls short of what you’d find on a gaming TV or monitor.

Nevertheless, the xScreen offered fluidity while I tested games like Bugsnax, Cuphead, Halo Infinite, and Forza Horizon 5. I felt no input lag while gaming, making it easy for me to focus on what was happening in the game rather than getting distracted by how the display was performing. The xScreen’s IPS display also offers good viewing angles.

The display itself is sharp and vibrant. While not as crisp as an OLED, the xScreen’s tiny yet mighty display offers a solid picture quality. On the default settings, I never felt the obligation to adjust the screen to a different angle or dim my lights to see the screen. Of course, there is the option to adjust brightness and controls if you have a certain preference, but the default settings should suffice for most people.
