Well friends, this is it. Amazon Prime Day is here, and with it comes all the deals and benefits Amazon offers. There are some truly great deals out there, too, like the Apple Watch 7 or $12.50 in credit with an Amazon Gift card deal.

However, if you're not an Amazon Prime Member you may have noticed many of the deals happening right now either don't show up or have a little blue button telling you the sale price is for Prime Members only. Prime membership is $14.99 a month, BUT… if you've never been a member, or never signed up for a trial, you can get 30 days for free and cancel whenever you want.

Enjoy Amazon Prime Day Deals Without Paying for Prime

With Prime membership, even a trial membership, you unlock all the benefits of Prime, which is kind of wild. For instance, you can watch all the movies and shows, and listen to all the music available for Prime subscribers, for free for the month.

But aside from that, you can get access to Audible deals, like three free months of Audible, as part of your trial membership. You also get to buy all the stuff on Prime Day priced specifically for Prime Day. In other words, if you visit Amazon without a Prime membership, you see an exciting low price and when you go to buy it, Amazon gently reminds you the deal is ONLY for Prime Members, locking you out of the deal.

If you don't want to get locked out of the deals this Prime Day, set yourself up with a free trial. Then set a reminder on your phone to cancel before the trial period ends. You could cancel on Thursday, when Prime Day is completely over, and it wouldn't make any difference, since you've already gotten what you want from it.

Road warriors rejoice! Amazon Prime Day brings us deals on three outstanding noise cancelling wireless headphones. Both the Sony WH1000XM4 and Bose QuietComfort 45 over-ear headphones are on sale, and at the same price – $228 for Amazon Prime members. That's about 10% less than the previous lowest price we've seen for either headphones. The Apple AirPods Pro is also down to its lowest price on Amazon Prime Day to $169.99. The Sony and Bose headphones are an over-ear style that's more comfortable for multi-hour marathons. The AirPods Pro is an in-ear earbud that offers even better noise isolation due to its design and a smaller form factor. Whatever you choose, you can't really go wrong.

Sony WH1000XM4 Over-Ear Headphones

The Sony WH1000XM4 might have a generic name, but the quality of these headphones is anything but. In recent years, Sony's WH1000XM series of headphones have shaken Bose's longstanding reputation for having the best noise cancelling headphones on the market. Bose still has the edge in terms of better noise cancellation, but many reviewers tip their hats toward the Sony WH1000 for slightly better audio quality and more comfortable ergonomics. The WH1000XM4 also boasts up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge. If you run out, charging for just 10 minutes will give you another 5 hours of playback. It charges via USB Type-C, which is a welcome upgrade over the legacy Micro USB from previous models.

Bose QuietComfort 45 Over-Ear Headphones

Bose needs no introduction. No one can dispute the fact that the Bose QuietComfort headphones have set the bar for noise cancellation and sound quality for years and years. They've been the industry standard up until the upstart Sony WH1000XM series came along. Unlike the WH1000XM4 (there's a WH1000XM5 currently released), the QuietComfort 45 is the newest model in the lineup. This is the first of the QuietComfort headphones to finally eschew the legacy Micro USB connector in favor of USB Type-C. The QC45 boasts up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, and charging for 15 minutes will give you another 3 hours of playback. It most other respects it feels and looks almost identical to the QC3. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Apple AirPods Pro In-Ear Earbuds

The current generation Apple AirPods Pro is one of the best sounding "truly wireless" earbuds you'll find, especially at this price point. "Truly wireless" earbuds have no wires whatsoever; even the earbuds aren't hardwired to each other. In addition to the excellent sound quality, the AirPods Pro is the only AirPods with active noise cancelling technology. That, combined with the inherent nature of in-ear earbuds, means that the AirPods Pro will provide better noise isolation than over-ear headphones like the Bose QuietComfort or the Sony WH1000XM5. If you're thinking of getting a pair of new AirPods, we highly recommend jumping on this particular model.
