Nintendo is set to expand its Switch Online with a new membership, offering classic Sega Genesis and Nintendo 64 games as part of the subscription with the new plan.
Revealed as part of September's Nintendo Direct, the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Plan will arrive in late October. Subscribers can continue with their existing plan or add the expansion to their plan. The expansion includes all the features of the base plan, along with the new additions.
The N64 games available at Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Plan's launch include:
- Super Mario 64
- Mario Kart 64
- Star Fox 64
- Yoshi's Story
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- WinBack: Covert Operations
- Dr. Mario 64
- Sin and Punishment
- Mario Tennis 64
Future Nintendo 64 games include Banjo-Kazooie, Pokemon Snap, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Mario Golf, Paper Mario, and F-Zero X.
As for the Genesis titles at launch, they include:
- Castlevania: Bloodlines
- Contra: Hard Corps
- Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
- Ecco the Dolphin
- Golden Axe
- Gunstar Heroes
- Phantasy Star IV
- Ristar
- Shining Force
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Streets of Rage 2
- M.U.S.H.A
- Phantasy Star 4
- Shinobi 3
- Strider
Multiplayer will be available for certain N64 games both locally and online. Members will also be able to purchase Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis controllers at $49.99 each.
