Apparently Beavis and Butt-Head watch BTS now, but only one of them is a fan of the K-pop group.
During a San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel, Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge previewed some clips for the upcoming season of Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, which is returning to Paramount+ this August.
One clip showed the duo watching a BTS video. Beavis was super into it, but hid his love for the band from Butt-Head. When Butt-Head walks out of the room, Beavis starts shaking his butt to the music. Butt-Head catches him, and says, "I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.”

BTS isn't the only think Beavis and Butt-Head will watch in the upcoming season. The duo will also watch TikTok videos, including one clip shown of them watching the "How to Make Prison Ink” TikTok from @scconvict. Judge spoke to some of the issues that arise when securing the rights for these new types of video formats.
“It’s actually really difficult and a lot of these people are these TikTok celebrities and YouTube stars and they’re like ‘Oh, I make a million dollars a month I don’t need to be on Beavis and Butt-Head’," Judge said. "So it’s mostly people who just want to be on the show.”
The iconic '90s duo returned this year in Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, which we called "a giggle-worthy yet juvenile romp" in an 8/10 review. A new season of the duo's sitcom will return on Paramount+ this August.
