Marvel's Loki may be notable for introducing major new character like Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie Laufeydottir and Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror, but we all know the real breakout star of the series. Now the lovable Miss Minutes is making the jump from the MCU to Marvel's comic book universe.
Miss Minutes will make her comic book debut in December's Timeless. This one-shot special focuses on her master, Kang, as the Conqueror goes on the defensive to prevent his timeline from being replaced. Marvel hasn't revealed what role Miss Minutes herself will play in the story or if the Time Variance Authority is coming into play, but we imagine she's working to further her master's agenda.
Timeless is written by Jed MacKay (Black Cat) and drawn by Kev Walker (Old Man Logan), Greg Land (Symbiote Spider-Man) and Mark Bagley (The Amazing Spider-Man). While it tells a standalone story, Timeless is also intended to set the stage for some major storylines in 2022. It's clear Marvel has big plans for Kang now that the time-traveling villain has made his MCU debut.
“During the course of events in TIMELESS, the timeline undergoes significant trauma and Kang is put in the fascinating position of not knowing what happens next,” MacKay told CBR. “Things that should play out differently, others happen as expected, while yet others are completely new fabrications of a shaken timeline. There will certainly be plenty to speculate upon and some very exciting hints for what is to come over the next couple of years.”
Timeless will be released on December 29.
