Forza Horizon 5 Xbox Controller Is Up for Preorder

Microsoft has announced a new limited-edition Xbox controller based on Forza Horizon 5. It sports a seriously bold and colorful look, inspired by the popular racing game. It also includes DLC for Forza Horizon 5. The MSRP for this controller is $74.99, but Walmart currently has it for $69. It's out November 9 (the same day as the game), but you can preorder at a number of retailers. Click on your store of choice below if you want one.

Preorder Xbox Controller Forza Horizon 5 Limited Edition

Everyone who buys this controller gets an exclusive DLC pack for Forza Horizon 5, including a Forza edition car, cosmetic item, and victory emote. The game itself is also available to preorder on its own, or is included in a Game Pass Ultimate subscription ($5 off at Amazon).

The face of the controller is a translucent yellow, giving you a view of the device's insides, including its rumble motor and special lighting effects. Splashes of light blue and pinkish red also adorn the front of the controller, too. The buttons and analog sticks are similarly colored. It's a bold design, but I love it.

The back of the controller has rubberized textured grips inspired by the perforated steering wheels of performance cars. Overall, I'd say it's one of the most visually interesting and stylish controllers Microsoft has ever put out. You'll probably want to lock in a preorder if you want one, because if this release is like previous limited-edition controllers, it may sell out and not come back.
