Doctor Doom MCU Project May Have Been Accidentally Leaked By Howard Stern

A new Doctor Doom movie set in the MCU may have been leaked by an unexpected source — radio host Howard Stern.

Over what appears to be a hot mic, Stern is heard talking to a producer about his plans for the summer, which apparently includes plans to appear in Doctor Doom in some capacity. Robert Downey Jr. is among the other names that come up.

"They're going over the schedule with me, and it's going to suck," Stern is heard saying.

"I told you, I'm going to do 'Doctor Doom.' That's the thing. But believe me, I'm f–king miserable about it…I called Robert Downey, Jr. and I was asking him acting techniques."

The clip quickly began circulating around social media, leading to wild speculation. Would Howard Stern interview Doctor Doom? Would he be in a What-If Season 2 episode? Was it an all elaborate prank?

Either way, Doctor Doom is very much in the news right now. The famous villain has yet to appear in any MCU property, but the time is ripe for Victor Von Doom to make his debut, especially following a certain cameo in Doctor Strange And the Multiverse of Madness. With Kang the Conquerer potentially wreaking havoc in the cosmos, Doctor Doom would make for an intriguing terrestrial threat.

We may well get more insight at next month's San Diego Comic-Con, where Marvel Studios is confirmed to be in attendance. A Phase 4 Fantastic Four reboot is also in the works, though little is currently known about the project.
