DC FanDome 2021: The Biggest Stories and Trailers Including The Batman

DC FanDome has finally arrived and gave us a look at some of the most anticipated films, TV shows, video games, and comic books from the DC universe. Some of the big highlights were new trailers for The Batman, The Flash, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gotham Knights, Black Adam, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Peacemaker, and Aquaman and Lost Kingdom.

The Batman: New Trailer Debuts at DC FanDome

Director Matt Reeves and actors Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz helped share the newest trailer for The Batman at DC FanDome 2021. This story is set during Batman’s second year as as crimefighter and sees him investigating a series of murders committed by Paul Dano’s The Riddler.

He is working alongside Gotham Police ally James Gordon, who is played by Jeffrey Wright, and his investigation also puts him on a crash course with Kravitz’ Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

The Batman: Robert Pattinson Wore Val Kilmer's Batsuit for Screen Test

The Batman director Matt Reeves revealed that Robert Pattinson wore Val Kilmer's Batsuit from Batman Forever during an early screen test for the upcoming film.

The Flash: First Footage Teases Michael Keaton's Batman and Batmobile

Ezra Miller helped reveal the first footage of The Flash and it featured a most welcome tease of Michael Keaton’s Batman and Batmobile.

Gotham Knights Gets a New Story Trailer, But No New Release Date

While we received no new release date, Gotham Knights did get a new story trailer and behind-the-scenes featurette at DC FanDome 2021. The story trailer featured more footage of Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood alongside a further glimpse at Gotham’s deadly secret society The Court of Owls.

Gotham Knights is set to be released in 2022.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League – First Footage Revealed at DC Fandome 2021

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League recieved a brand-new trailer that gave fans their first look at Rocksteady’s new take on The Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman. While no release date was given, we now know a lot more about the game that stars Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark.

We also got a quick look at the Batmobile, but Batman has yet to make an appearance.

The newest Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League trailer featured an Easter Egg that honored the comic book origins of Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark.

Batgirl: New Story Details and Suit Revealed for Live-Action Movie
