Black Adam, the long-awaited DC movie starring Dwayne Johnson, is heading to San Diego Comic-Con this summer.
Johnson broke the news on social media in a video saying that “the rumors are true” and “the hype is real.” Finally, after almost a decade in the making, audiences will get to learn even more about the movie starring Black Adam, villain turned antihero.
In his post, Johnson writes, “Finally…The Man in Black Comes Home to Comic-Con.” The panel for Black Adam will take place in Hall H on Saturday, July 23, though a time has not yet been specified.

While details are sparse on just what fans will get to see at the panel, a new look at the upcoming film and new information from the cast and director Jaume Collet-Serra seem likely. The first trailer for Black Adam dropped in June. It was as action-packed as you might expect.
Johnson’s dedication and love for the film and character are infectious. Last month he said he was “100% committed to not only Black Adam, but then expanding the Black Adam Universe, the DC Universe.” Assuming the film does well, this won’t be Black Adam’s only outing.
Black Adam follows the titular character after he’s freed from being entombed nearly 5,000 years prior. Bestowed with the powers of the Egyptian Gods, he is now ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the world.
