Amazon’s Running an ‘Epic Daily Deal’ on Anime Series Blu-rays and DVDs
Starting on Monday, Amazon’s usual “Deal of the Day” department was replaced with a new “Epic Daily Deal” page, and it’s more than just a name change. These deals are, by the colloquial definition made popular in the 2010s, pretty “epic.”
One of the deals going on today happens to be on collections of anime series like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Sailor Moon, Bleach, Pokemon and more.
Anime Deals
There are a lot of Blu-rays and DVDs for sale, all of which are from Bleach, InuYasha, JoJo, Sailor Moon, and Pokemon, with TerraFormers thrown in the mix just to shake things up. Not a bad selection, really, but hopefully we see more anime deals as the month goes on.

30th Anniversary Nirvana Nevermind Super Deluxe Set Available for Preorder
Nirvana’s Nevermind, one of the most disruptive rock albums of all time, is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and to commemorate the occasion, Geffen is reissuing Nevermind in several different, very cool editions.
Nirvana’s Nevermind 30th Anniversary Editions
As someone who lived through Nirvana’s rise, it was a strange time indeed. Hair metal still ruled the rock airwaves, and Nirvana’s brand of punk-influenced music was just not part of the landscape at the time. It caught everyone, especially the record executives of the time, completely off-guard. It wasn’t long before the grunge movement completely overtook rock, and Nirvana’s Nevermind is can largely be credited with starting it.
Of course, like all good things, it wasn’t meant to last. Soon those very same record execs who were utterly blindsided by the audience interest in “alternative” rock were signing every long-haired musician with a flannel shirt, and the genre became completely diluted and the grunge movement was over quickly.
Some of the biggest names, like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and of course, Nirvana, are still recognized for their contributions to rock, and rightly so.

Huge Buy 2, Get 1 Free Sale on Board Games at Amazon Right Now
Without warning, Amazon has started up one of its excellent buy two, get one free deals, this time on board games. But it’s not JUST board games qualifying for the promotion: there are also toys on sale, too. Most of the toy offerings skew younger, but there are quite a few Nerf blasters on the list, and those are timeless.
At the time of this writing there are over 8 pages of results on Amazon for qualifying products, so you can either browse the entire thing or check out a few of the highlights I’ve pulled for you below.
Buy 2, Get 1 Board Game Deals at Amazon
Amazon runs these types of sales fairly regularly, and they often last a few days. There’s no way to tell with this particular deal how long it will be around, but my guess is at least 2-3 days.
Also it’s worth checking back every day, because these promotions tend to expand in scope and size. There are already 8 pages of results but Amazon almost always adds more items to the sale. In any case, there’s more than enough to get started and honestly, it’s not too early to start your Christmas shopping.
