Twitch streamers can breathe a sigh of relief as Netflix announced it will allow Twitch users to co-stream the first episode of Arcane, the upcoming animated series set in the League of Legends universe. By the sound of it, streamers don't have to worry about any DMCA takedowns.
The Arcane Twitter account announced the co-streaming details on Monday, ahead of the series premiere on November 6. The tweet specifically mentions that only the first episode of the series is safe to stream and can only be streamed on Twitch.
"Experience the first episode of #Arcane with your favorite streamers, representing 40+ countries and broadcasting in 20+ languages on @Twitch," according to the Arcane Twitter account. "Runeterra awaits, see you November 6th."

Given League of Legends' popularity on Twitch, having popular League of Legends streamers co-host and commentate on the first episode of Arcane seems like a good way to market the series to fans.
Streamers are used to avoiding copyright content in video games with many games now offering a streamer setting that blocks licensed material from appearing on stream. Otherwise, streamers could potentially be penalized with a DMCA takedown and lose access to their channels.
Arcane takes place before the events of League of Legends in the city of Piltover. The series follows LoL heroes Vi and Jinx, who will be voiced by Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell respectively.
The full voice cast for Arcane also includes Kevin Alejandro as Jayce, Katie Leung as Caitlyn, and Jason Spisak as Silco.
