Project Triangle Strategy Gets ‘Fine-Tuned’ Ahead of March Release

Project Triangle Strategy, Square Enix's upcoming tactical RPG, is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch early next year, on March 4, 2022.

During today's Nintendo Direct presentation, it was announced that Square Enix and developer ArtDink have been working on "fine-tuning" the game based on feedback from a survey that went out alongside the game's free demo back in February.

These updates include adjustments to difficulty, improvements to on-screen visuals like the UI, camera controls, the ability to review prior dialogue, and streamlined game flow and loading times.

Project Triangle Strategy was announced earlier this year, and is a turn-based tactical RPG in the same visual style as Octopath Traveler. It follows a story of conflict between three nations and its aftermath, where a group of heroes travel the world and engage in various battles on different terrain, where elevation plays a role in tactics. Choice-based gameplay also impacts the narrative, with decisions hinging on utility, morality, and liberty.
