Are you thinking about Christmas yet? You might want to, because Funko has its line of 2021 advent calendars up for preorder right now. Gaming fans can grab one featuring Pokemon or Five Nights at Freddy's. Fans of TV and film can pick up a Harry Potter calendar or one based on The Office. All of them come with 24 tiny Funko figures to enjoy throughout December.
Preorder Funko Advent Calendars 2021
The Funkos included here are Pocket Pops, which, depending on the figure, stand roughly 1.25 inches to 2.15 inches tall. The Pokemon Funko advent calendar at Amazon shows all 24 figures you'll get. The Walmart ones keep things a little more under wraps, revealing only four or five of the figures hidden in the compartments.
For those who didn't grow up with the tradition, advent calendars are deployed in December to count down to Christmas. Each day, you (or your child) opens a door on the calendar to reveal that day's present. Traditional advent calendars are filled with pieces of chocolate, but these are filled with Funkos.
LEGO also releases new advent calendars each year, but they're not available quite yet. I expect them before too much longer now that the proverbial advent calendar seal has been broken. In any case, if you wouldn't mind opening a new Funko figure each day of December, now's a good time to place your preorder. Only a limited number of these will be made, and they tend to sell out before December begins.
They also make good gifts, so if someone in your life is a fan of Harry Potter, The Office, Pokemon, or Five Nights at Freddy's, consider grabbing one for them.
